The Plant Care Facility manages growth chambers in ERML and the Plant Science Lab Building. The centralized PCF Growth Chamber Program was established in 2023. Faculty can complete the growth chamber space request to request access to a growth chamber, 30-60 day notice recommended. Growth chambers are assigned based on availability and project timeline.
Pest control, sanitation, programming assistance, and maintenance are included in the base service fee for each growth chamber. Users will have access to water for daily plant care and can request liquid fertilizer as needed throughout the project.
Below are descriptions of each chamber along with availability. Services rates for the growth chambers can be found on the service rates and charges webpage. Growth chambers are charged daily.
