Services

The PCF is a full service greenhouse operation that offers greenhouse space, watering, fertilizing, planting, pest control, and soil mixing. We also stock a variety of flats, pots, soilless mixes, inserts and labels. The staff is available to help with any request you have regarding growing plants in the greenhouse, lab or growth chamber for class or research use. We can also often help find the plant materials required for a greenhouse project. If you think we can help, please ask! We will often be able to help get your work done better, quicker and, even with services we are required to charge for, at a lower cost.

Maintenance / Repairs

For any required repairs (HID lights not working, room overheating/too cold, broken glass, etc.) please contact a member of the greenhouse staff. Critical repairs (ie. if your plants or the greenhouse are at risk) should be reported immediately - please don't hesitate to call us. Routine repairs can be reported using "Service Request Form" (located outside 1222 and 1312 PSL and in the center of the Turner Hall greenhouse crosshouse). If it's easier for you, you can send us an e-mail, send the on-line version of the Service Request Form, or leave us a phone message. Again though, for critical repairs, please contact us immediately.

Changes

If you need to request changes or additional services to your greenhouse project, please fill out a "Service Request Form" (located outside 1222 and 1312 PSL and in the center of the Turner Hall greenhouse crosshouse). Please use these forms (or send us the on-line version of the Service Request Form if that's easier for you) to request changes in your room temperature settings, HID lighting times or level, changes in fertilizer or watering services, additional keys for your greenhouse room, additional chemical treatments, etc. Since we may get a number of requests at one time, we do appreciate getting your request in writing (e-mail works too!).
